This site was set up for the Principality of Oertha, the Northern region of
the Kingdom of the West, and part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
Planning began around early May, 1997 and the page was first established on June
1, 1997. It was at first closed off from other people being able to find it
until final authorization was given to make it public at the begining of
July, 1997. This site was established under the reign of Viscountess Viresse'
de Lighthaven and Viscount Astrin Straitarrow (mka Kathy & Terry Judge).
This website was originally constructed by Allen McGregor (mka Gregory
Nelson) and maintained until 2002, and many of the photographs seen here have been provided by the Eskalyan Court Painter, Maurella McGregor (mka Jennifer Lynn-Jones Nelson).
Khevron (mka Don Goertz -myself) was given charge of the site in the summer of 2002 after assisting with it for some time until May of 2006. I then took over the office to continue the excellent work of those that came before me.
