Principality of Oertha - Barony of Winter's Gate

Cantref Ynys Taltraeth (formerly known as Moroedd Oer) (Kotzebue, AK) The name 'Pronounced Innis Tal-trayth' means "River meadow at the end of the beach". The canton claims the coastal territories of Winter's Gate, which, in Mundane terms, is all of Coastal Northern Alaska, from just below Nome, all the way to the Yukon, and the Islands of Diomede and into Asia to the Ural Mountains. Ynys Taltraeth is centered at Kotzebue, AK.

Ynys Taltraeth passed the SCA College of Arms in Summer of 2001.

Official Arms: Argent, a sea dog purpure breathing flames gules, in canton a laurel wreath purpure. Ynys Taltraeth began it's existence in A.S. XXXI (1997)
and was made an official branch of the SCA January, A.S. XXXVI (2002)
